Check driving reinstatement eligibility

If your Wisconsin driving privilege is withdrawn because of a revocation, suspension, disqualification, cancellation, or denial, this online system can be used to check the requirements needed to reinstate your privilege. This system can be used if you are a Wisconsin resident or a resident of another state whose operating privilege in Wisconsin was revoked, suspended, disqualified, canceled, or denied.

The reinstatement requirements will be determined by the information available on your driving record at the time of your request. If it can be determined, the system will also show you the date you can become eligible for reinstatement. Requirements shown with an arrow Requirements shown with an arrow in front of them are requirements that can be cleared up by some action on your part making you eligible for reinstatement of THAT withdrawal immediately. in front of them are requirements that can be cleared up by some action on your part, making you eligible for reinstatement of THAT withdrawal immediately. Pending violations or convictions not reported by the convicting court may affect your reinstatement eligibility, so you may want to check at a later time for more up-to-date information.

This system will automatically check your eligibility for reinstatement of your non-commercial (cars, light truck, mopeds and/or cycles) driving privileges. You can also check your eligibility for reinstatement of your privilege to drive vehicles requiring a commercial driver license (CDL).

This system will tell you if you can reinstate by mail or if you must visit a DMV Service Center to complete the reinstatement process.
