Public meeting scheduled for Wauwatosa Road (WIS 181) in Ozaukee County

Meeting to focus on proposed roundabout.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) Southeast Regional Office in Waukesha is announcing a public information meeting to discuss a roundabout proposed at the intersection of Wauwatosa Road and Highland Road. The proposed roundabout is part of a $3 million resurfacing project on Wauwatosa Road, from Mequon Road to Pioneer Road, scheduled for construction in 2009.
The meeting is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the Mequon City Hall, 11333 N. Cedarburg Road, Mequon. A formal presentation on roundabouts will be given at 6:15 p.m. followed by a question and answer period.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input, and ask questions concerning the project. Maps showing the proposed improvements will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
