Public information meeting scheduled April 8 for WIS 75 project in Kenosha & Racine counties

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) announced a public information meeting is scheduled to discuss improvements to WIS 75 between WIS 50 and WIS 11 in Kenosha and Racine counties.
When: Tuesday, April 8, 2008 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Where: Brighton Elementary School, 1200 248th Avenue, Kansasville
The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the project, present preliminary plans and obtain public input. A handout summarizing the project concepts and schedule will be provided, as well as a comment sheet that can be used for additional public input.
The meeting will be an "open-house" format. Displays will be available for review and there will be a presentation at 5:30 p.m. The community is encouraged to attend anytime from 5 to 7 p.m. The project team will be available to provide information and answer questions.
The Brighton Elementary School is wheelchair accessible. Hearing-impaired citizens may request an interpreter by contacting Traci Gengler by April 4, 2008 via the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay System (dialing 711).
