REMINDER - News briefing scheduled June 5 for College Avenue bridge project

First of monthly briefings on Appleton bridge project set to begin

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is announcing a news briefing has been scheduled for the College Avenue bridge project. The briefing will be held:

Date – Thursday, June 5
Time – 11 a.m.
Location – Engineering Conference Room, 5th Floor, City Hall, 100 North Appleton Street, Appleton

WisDOT and city of Appleton staff will update the media and answer questions regarding this project. The department also plans to provide weekly updates through the Weekly Advisory news release that lists all WisDOT projects in NE Wisconsin and is distributed early on Fridays, in addition to the monthly briefings.

Replacement of the bridge on Appleton’s east side is set to begin this July.
