WIS 22 improvements scheduled to begin June 12

Detour begins Thursday, June 12

Replacement of the Embarrass River Bridge, located on WIS 22 between River Bank Road and Spruce Road in the town of Belle Plaine, Shawano County, is scheduled to begin next week.

During construction, WIS 22 will be closed to through traffic between WIS 156 and WIS 29 and detoured via WIS 156, Shawano County K and WIS 29.

The detour is scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 12. The highway is expected to reopen in early September 2008.

WIS 22 will remain open to local traffic throughout construction.
