WIS 22 detour scheduled to begin Thursday June 12

The detour for the replacement of the Embarrass River Bridge, located on WIS 22 between River Bank Road and Spruce Road in the town of Belle Plaine, Shawano County, is scheduled to begin Thursday, June 12.

During construction, WIS 22 - between WIS 156 and WIS 29 - will be closed to through traffic and detoured via WIS 156, Shawano County K and WIS 29.

The highway is expected to reopen in early September 2008.

WIS 22 will remain open to local traffic throughout construction.
