Latest information on where flooding has closed state highways available
Want to know if there are any Wisconsin highways along your intended route that are being
affected by flooding? Go the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's Web site. WisDOT is
continually updating the Web site (www.dot.wisconsin.gov) with the latest road condition
information and motorists interested in knowing where their travels may be affected should check
there before departing on their journey.
Once on the site, click on the red "Incident Alerts" button, and you'll be taken to a page
that lists all known state highways that are being affected by high water. There's also a link on
that page that will take you to a map showing where the affected highways are located. The list and
map do not identify county or local roads affected by flooding.
Motorists may also call WisDOT's toll free number: 1-800-ROAD WIS (762-3947) for updated
information on state highways affected by flooding.
