Public information meeting scheduled July 21 for WIS 36 project in Racine County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has scheduled a public information meeting to discuss improvements to WIS 36 in Racine County.
When: Monday, July 21, 2008 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Where: City of Burlington Police Department - Council Chambers
The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the project, present preliminary plans and obtain public input. A handout summarizing the project concepts and schedule will be provided, as well as a comment sheet that can be used for additional public input.
The meeting will be an "open-house" format. The community is encouraged to attend anytime from 5 to 7 p.m. Displays will be available for review, and the project team will be available to provide information and answer questions.
The City of Burlington Police Department is wheelchair accessible. Hearing-impaired citizens may request an interpreter by contacting Traci Gengler at least three working days prior to the meeting via the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay System (dialing 711).
