Crews planning WIS 47 survey work

Motorists advised to watch for surveyors, equipment

During the week of October 13, crews plan to begin survey work within the right-of-way of WIS 47 between the Langlade County line and County M, in Menominee County.

Motorists on WIS 47 traffic may encounter surveyors or survey equipment and are advised to drive with caution. Survey work is scheduled for completion October 24.

The survey work is necessary for the planned improvements to the highway, which is currently scheduled to begin in 2011. The proposed improvements include a mill and asphalt overlay of the existing pavement.
