US 10 reopening in Calumet County

October 1, 2008

Roundabout and Park and Ride completed at US 10 and County N

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) NE Region at Green Bay has some good news for motorists who drive on US 10 east of the Fox Valley. The newly constructed roundabout at US 10 and County N in Calumet County is opening at 8 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2008. The Park and Ride lot adjacent to the roundabout will also be opened.

During this construction, to accommodate the detour routes, temporary 4-way stops had been installed at WIS 55 and US 10; WIS 114 and WIS 55; and WIS 114 and State Park Road. These intersections will return to their original configuration as 2-way stops with through traffic.

The $1.3 million project began in August and involved constructing a roundabout at the existing two-way stop intersection and expanding the existing Park and Ride in the northeast quadrant of the intersection from 16 to 41 stalls.
