Milwaukee to Madison High Speed Rail

The Milwaukee to Madison High Speed Rail corridor is part of the proposed Midwest Regional Rail Initiative, a 3,000-mile Midwest passenger rail network radiating from Chicago and serving nine states. 

An Environmental Assessment of the proposal has been prepared. Check the Environmental Assessment page for the most recent information.

A Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) was issued on August 13, 2004, by the Federal Railroad Administration.
