Burlington bypass project - traffic impacts

2008

2009

In early 2009, both WIS 36 and County P will be closed to through traffic due to interchange construction. Construction of the interchanges will continue through the summer of 2009 and be completed by late fall.

Access for local residents will be maintained throughout construction.

• WIS 36 through traffic will be detoured via WIS 120 and WIS 11

• County P through traffic will be detoured via Market Street in the city of Burlington, WIS 83 and WIS 50.

2010

In early 2010, WIS 11 and Walworth County DD will be closed to through traffic due to construction. 

Construction will continue through the summer of 2010 and be completed by fall. Access for local residents will be maintained throughout construction..

• WIS 11 through traffic will be detoured via WIS 120 and WIS 36. No detour posted for County DD.
