Project location

US 18 (Moreland Blvd.), Manhattan Dr. to I-94, in Waukesha County.

Project overview

Construction was scheduled in three segments. The first two segments are now complete. Construction is now in the final segment:

  • 2016-2017 - West segment (Manhattan Dr. to I-94)

Project includes:

  • Rehabilitation of roadway, pavement to have a new asphaltic concrete resurface.
  • Turn lanes planned at the Moreland Blvd./Kossow Rd. intersection.

It is a vital transportation corridor connecting major population centers and fronted with dense concentration of retail, commercial, office and service businesses.

Safety improvements being considered

  • Minor geometric modifications at certain intersections
  • Traffic signal modifications.

Project cost estimated at $9 million.

Status/phase

Study with construction scheduled for 2016/2017.
