Milwaukee Intermodal Station renovation - completed

• Grand Reopening ceremony held November 26th, 2007.

The Milwaukee Intermodal Station is an important transportation link in the Milwaukee area. More than 500,000 Amtrak passengers per year use the facility to make connections to local and regional buses, county transit, taxis and their cars as they move throughout the region for business or pleasure.

A $15.8 million public/private project is currently underway to rehabilitate the station. It will serve as a "gateway" to downtown Milwaukee and will be integrated with the design efforts of the department's Marquette Interchange project.

The station is a multiple-use facility with the following features:
