US 10 expansion project - completed projects

Project: US 10 Wisconsin River Crossing, County E to Pinewood Drive
Dates: September 2006 through September 2008
Description: A new bridge across the Wisconsin River will be built north of Stevens Point.
Traffic impacts:

  • There will be no impact to traffic on the state highway system.
  • Local access on River Road may be closed at times to accommodate construction activities.

Project: Casimir Road interchange 
Dates: June 2006 to November 2006
Description: Ramps will be added to the existing Casimir Road overpass for local access to I-39. Local access will be available at the Portage County X interchange until summer 2007. In summer 2007, the interchange was closed and the ramps were removed.
Traffic impacts:

  • None to report on at this time.
