US 53 Corridor Preservation Study - schedule

Because of the length of the US 53 Corridor between Rice Lake and Superior, the corridor preservation planning efforts will be broken into six areas.

 

Date Type of work/activity
2006 - 2008 Haugen Area (26th Avenue to 30th Avenue) Study. Official mapping/corridor preservation. Study started in 2006 with anticipated completion in 2008.
2007 - 2010 Spooner/Trego Area (WIS 70 to Lampson) Study. Official mapping/corridor preservation. Study beginning in fall, 2007 with anticipated completion in 2010.
2007 - 2010 Minong Area (Lampson to Gordon) Study. Official mapping/corridor preservation. Study beginning in fall, 2007 with anticipated completion in 2010.
After 2008 Sarona Area (Haugen to WIS 70) Study anticipated to begin. Official mapping/corridor preservation.
After 2008 Solon Springs Area (Gordon to Bennett) Study. Official mapping/corridor preservation. Study anticipated to begin after 2008.
After 2008 Hawthorne Area (Bennett to Superior) Study. Official mapping/corridor preservation. Study anticipated to begin after 2008.
