WIS 241 Corridor Study - environmental documents

An Environmental Assessment (EA) will be prepared for the WIS 241 study. It documents the need for proposed improvements, the alternatives that were considered, and their impacts.

An EA is required by the National and Wisconsin Environmental Policy Acts for projects with potentially significant social, economic, natural resource and other impacts.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is the lead agency for the EA, which will be prepared in accordance with FHWA guidelines.

The EA for WIS 241 will be available for public review and comment in the winter of 2009.
