Wisconsin Street bridge project - need

The Wisconsin Street bridge over the Fox River is nearly 70 years old and in need of considerable maintenance to continue operating safely.

A new bridge is necessary to handle the current and future traffic demands of the area. This bridge impedes traffic flow since it provides only one lane of traffic in each direction while connecting a four-lane street.
