Rustic Road 70

Location:  Grant County. Leave U.S. 61 at Liberty Ridge Road; portions of Hill Road, Ridge Road, Sleepy Hollow Road, Scenic Road to County Highway E.

Length:  10.1 miles

Surface:  Gravel

This rustic road meanders through the contour-stripped farms and the tree-covered hills of the Platte River Valley. Liberty Ridge Road passes by a church built in 1861 by German settlers and into the quaint community of Stitzer while the other roads pass through the rambling countryside. One of the few remaining one-room school houses in the area is located on Scenic Road.
